In the climate change situation, the energy source is exhausted gradually. With the development speed of many fields in Vietnam nowadays, energy is a problem that Vietnam has to face in the near future. Therefore, proposal solution of mitigation and adaptation towards climate change is particularly pressing and urgent. Thus, in Vietnam building, industry and transport are the most energy consuming sectors and the biggest producers of greenhouse gasses. After a long time of war and the change of economy, currently, people are experiencing a significant improvement of their living standards. Many new values are formed with new aspiration and new possibilities are set into place. However, when making the decisions for the target of development, most of the metropolitans face with many problem of sustainability development and long term benefit of society because those problem need a research investment and easily overlooked due to economic benefits. This study introduces some kind of housing in Vietnam and the situation of building development in Hue city. There are many shortcomings and errors both in old and new construction which need to be repair and change in new building to avoid the repeat of construction methods. Responsive climate housing has chosen for low cost energy during construction process as well as operation process. Vietnam in general and Hue city in particular, if it does not have promptly solution, building is not only sector will face with energy shortage. It can be seen that, this issue is warning with the power shortage, frequent blackout in recent years. From this research, the building strategies bring out sustainable living environment with the adaptive climate solutions. The strategies develop base on the local climate, local material, traditional construction methods and some scientific approaches. This study will be the evident for many solutions which use the advantage of local climate to reduce the cost of energy and support a comfort living for inhabitants. Besides that, the study also proposal some oriented measures for storm and flooding area in Hue which happen every year lack of solution for this problem. It can be considered as a further study for finding strategies to reduce risks caused by natural disasters which also are urgency matter in Vietnam. The result of this research adds the specialized knowledge for architecture, designer in sustainable, climate responsive, and low cost housing. It also support for other people who reflect about building to help understand the role of climate responsive for more energy efficient as well as sustainable environment. Wishing of the author is bring out an manual book about sustainable design and safe energy by climate adapting for all object of owner, investors and architecture in the future.
Nella situazione attuale di grandi cambiamenti climatici, gradualmente le fonti di energia si stanno esaurendo. A causa della grande velocita’ di sviluppo di molti settori del Vietnam odierno, l’energia e’ una problema che questo stato dovra’ incontrare nel futuro prossimo. Quindi e’ particolarmente urgente affrontare soluzioni di mitigazione e adattamento ai cambiamenti climatici. Le costruzioni, le industrie e i mezzi di trasporto sono i piu’ grandi consumatori di energia e produttori di gas serra. Dopo un lungo periodo di Guerra e cambiamento economico, finalmente oggi la popolazione vietnamita comincia a sentire miglioramenti significativi nel proprio tenore di vita. Cambiano i valori e si aspira a nuove possibilita’. Pertanto, quando si prendono decisioni per gli obiettivi di sviluppo, le grandi citta’ incontrano molti problemi di sostenibilita’ nello sviluppo e di benifici a lungo termine perche’ e’ necessario investire nella ricerca per risolverli, quindi e’ facile trascurarli per motivi economici. Questo studio introduce alcune tipologie abitative del Vietnam e la situazione dello sviluppo degli edifici nella citta’ di Hue. Dall’analisi si deduce che sono presenti molte carenze ed errori nella progettazione delle costruzioni sia antiche che recenti, quindi e’ necessario attuare dei cambiamenti per evitare metodi di costruzione sbagliati. Edifici che danno una risposta intelligente al clima utilizzano meno energia sia nel processo di costruzione che durante il loro utilizzo. Se non si trova una soluzione in tempi brevi, in Vietnam in generale e a Hue in particolare, il settore delle costruzioni non sara’ l’unico che incontra questa mancanza di fonti di energia. Questo problema allarmante e’ evidenziato dai blackout sempre piu’ frequenti col passare degli anni. Questa ricerca vuole dare delle strategie di progettazione per un ambiente di vita sostenibile con soluzioni che si adattano al clima. Lo sviluppo della metodologia si fonda su un approccio tradizionale basato sul clima e sui materiali reperibili localmente, combinato ad un approccio scientifico. Questo studio vuole evidenziare delle soluzioni che sfruttano il clima locale come un vantaggio per ridurre il dispendio di energia e per realizzare comfort abitativo. Oltre a questo, la ricerca propone delle strategie per fronteggiare le frequenti tempeste ed inondazioni di Hue’, che finora non hanno sufficienti soluzioni, e per ridurre i rischi causati dalle calamità naturali, molto urgenti in Vietnam. Il risultato di questa ricerca contribuisce alla conoscenza specializzata nei settori dell’architettura, della progettazione sostenibile e bioclimatica, e delle costruzioni a basso costo. Vuole essere un supporto per capire il ruolo del clima in un progetto per essere energeticamente efficiente e sostenibile in maniera maggiore. L’autore desidera proporre un manuale per la progettazione sostenibile ed energeticamente efficiente attraverso l’utilizzo delle risorse naturali per tutti gli interessati: committenti, investitori e architetti.
