WITH THIS WORK WE WANTED TO INVESTIGATE THE MOTIVATIONAL ASPECTS OF GRADE 9 STUDENTS WITHIN A RECENT INNOVATIVE EDUCATIONAL PROPOSAL: THE "MATH HIGH SCHOOL". IT WAS BORN IN 2014 AND, IN COHERENCE WITH NATIONAL INDICATIONS AND MINISTERIAL GUIDELINES, IT IS PROPOSED TO SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF MATHEMATICAL LITERACY (OECD, 2019a) IN STUDENTS AND THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF TEACHERS THROUGH LABORATORY LESSONS AND AN INTERDISCIPLINARY APPROACH. THE WORK CONDUCTED SHOWS HOW THE "MATH HIGH SCHOOL" CAN SUPPORT STUDENTS' NEEDS FOR AUTONOMY, COMPETENCE AND SOCIAL INTERACTION AND, THEREFORE, MODIFY STUDENTS' INTRINSIC MOTIVATION, ACCORDING TO SELF-DETERMINATION THEORY (RYAN & DECI, 2000). THE RESULTS ARE ALSO IN LINE WITH PREVIOUS RESEARCH ON COLLABORATIVE EDUCATION IN SECONDARY SCHOOL. THE BENEFITS OF COLLABORATIVE AND INTERDISCIPLINARY TEACHING CAN BE FOUND, FROM THE TEACHERS' POINT OF VIEW, BOTH ON THEIR OWN PRAXIS AND ON THE AFFECTIVE FACTORS OF THE STUDENTS.
CON IL PRESENTE LAVORO SI E' VOLUTO INDAGARE GLI ASPETTI MOTIVAZIONALI DEGLI STUDENTI DI GRADO 9 ALL'INTERNO DI UNA RECENTE PROPOSTA DIDATTICA INNOVATIVA: IL "LICEO MATEMATICO". ESSO NASCE NEL 2014 E, IN COERENZA CON LE INDICAZIONI NAZIONALI E LINEE GUIDA MINISTERIALI, SI PROPONE DI SUPPORTARE LO SVILUPPO DELLA MATHEMATICAL LITERACY (OECD, 2019a)NEGLI STUDENTI E LO SVILUPPO PROFESSIONALE DEI DOCENTI TRAMITE LEZIONI DI TIPO LABORATORIALE E UN APPROCCIO INTERDISCIPLINARE. IL LAVORO CONDOTTO MOSTRA IN CHE TERMINI IL "LICEO MATEMATICO" POSSA SUPPORTARE I BISOGNI DI AUTONOMIA, COMPETENZA E INTERAZIONE SOCIALE NEGLI STUDENTI E, DUNQUE, INTERVENIRE SULLA MOTIVAZIONE INTRINSECA DEGLI STUDENTI ALLA LUCE DELLA SELF-DETERMINATION THEORY (RYAN & DECI, 2000). I RISULTATI EMERSI SONO INOLTRE IN LINEA CON PRECEDENTI RICERCHE SULLA DIDATTICA COLLABORATIVA NELLA SCUOLA SECONDARIA. I BENEFICI DI UNA DIDATTICA COLLABORATIA E INTERDISCIPLINARE SI POSSONO RINTRACCIARE, DAL PUNTO DI VISTA DEI DOCENTI , SIA SULLE LORO PRASSEOLOGIE, SIA SUI FATTORI AFFETTIVI DEGLI STUDENTI.
