Abstract

Superfluidity and magnetism represent a spectacular manifestation of strong interactions in fermionic systems. These antithetic complex many-body phases encompass a wide range of environments at different energy scales, from solid-state up to quark and nuclear matter. Within this thesis, I have addressed some aspects of these two fundamental phenomena by exploiting ultracold atomic lithium-6 (6Li) Fermi gases prepared in a optical potentials.
