In this thesis, I tried to go beyond the classic organizational and managerial logic focused exclusively on ‘bureaucracy,’ ‘hierarchical control,’ and ‘performance,’ by considering these leverages as instruments that are liable to generate a loss of gratuity in workers’ behaviors. I propose a shift from a company based on traditional leverages, to another one based on 'equality' and 'freedom'.
