This work aims to support Heart Rate Variability (HRV) and psychopathology research. It presents a review on the early signs of schizophrenia and autonomic nervous system dysregulation. It also focuses on linear and non-linear HRV analyses in a sample of adults with bipolar and unipolar depression to better understand their diagnostic differentiation. Lastly, two ongoing research are presented.

Abstract
