Abstract
By the deposition of a cold Cesium atomic beam, we pattern nanostructures in a controlled way by a 1dimension Standing Wave. Different substrates as graphite, gold, silicon have been used with direct deposition or by resist assisted atom lithography. One of the main efforts of the experiment is using cold atoms generated by a Magneto Optical Trap, and, investigate the sample ex-situ (after resist assisted deposition) or in vacuum by STM. The deposition of ultra cold atoms is important not only for studies cooling mechanisms and nanolithography limits but also became a new challenge for the surface physics to explore the dynamics of a single atom over a substrate.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
