Using the indexeS related with remodeling as coordinates, it was possible to construct a matrix, in which the percentage of residual graft at one year after implant placement is interpolated for all possible values of the indices related, so we can predict the resorption of the volumetric System plug-implants.

Abstract
Were calculated, three time intervals (T0 preoperative, 3-4 months after augmentation - just before the placement for electrical systems, T1 and one year after implant placement, T2), through a process of merging two files CT scan, T0 and T1 vs T2 vs T0, the volumes, surfaces and the related remodeling of bone grafts horizontal in the anterior maxilla. The donor site considered here was the iliac crest and the bone resorption average of the grafts, calculated to more than a year, they are comparable with those of the literature. Have been introduced various sizes, measured (surface of contact between graft and recipient site, the outer surface of the graft, the volume of the radial section basal bone receiving the graft) and derived, namely three indices which took account of an "average height "graft, indexH, the volume ratio between basal and bone graft, indexV and the" form "of the graft, indexS. Were searched for possible correlations between these variables is that between these quantities and the remodeling of the bone graft at the time T2. Using the indexeS related with remodeling as coordinates, it was possible to construct a matrix, in which the percentage of residual graft at one year after implant placement is interpolated for all possible values of the indices related, so we can predict the resorption of the volumetric System plug-implants.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
