The purpose of this work is the development of innovative methods of synthesis of catalysts based on the sol-gel technique for ecofriendly processes. The Fischer-Tropsch and Ammonia syntheses were considered. After the preparation, the catalysts were characterized by means of reduction/oxidation at programmed temperature techniques (TPR, TPO), XRD, IR and electron microscopy analyses. The activities of the produced catalysts were evaluated by tests on a laboratory plant.
Lo scopo di questo lavoro è lo sviluppo di sintesi innovative di catalizzatori per processi ecocompatibili utilizzando la tecnica sol-gel. La sintesi di Fischer-Tropsch e la sintesi dell'ammoniaca sono state scelte come reazioni sonda. Alla preparazione dei catalizzatori è seguita una fase di caratterizzazione con tecniche di riduzione/ossidazione a temperatura programmata (TPR, TPO), XRD, IR e microscopia elettronica. L'attività dei catalizzatori preparati è stata valutata mediante test catalitici in impianto di laboratorio.
