Rachele Villa Pernice e l'intellettualità femminile italiana del secondo Ottocento

>This doctoral thesis concerns a relatively unknown lady, fond of literature, arts and religion, whose unpublished paper archive reveals the evolution of important Italian writers and various historical issues of the second half of XIXth century through exchange of ideas and debates between several femmes savantes both Italian that Europeans with the intervention of important male figures. The intrinsic feature of Rachele Villa Pernice, daughter of the historian Cesare Cantù, stands out in comparison with other Italian and foreign learned ladies.
