This PhD work concerns the study and application of different classes of alternatives solvents. In particular, the classes studied were the one of Dicationic Ionic Liquids, the one of Deep Eutectic Solvents and the one of Biobased solvents. The Dicationic Ionic Liquids were synthesis and studied to acquire more information about their properties. Successively, some of them were employed in a study of activation of CO2 molecules, while others were employed in the preparation of eutectic mixtures and used as media for a multicomponent reaction. Deep Eutectic Solvents and Biobased solvents were used to develop a greener protocol for the metal catalysed Suzuki-Miyaura coupling. A last project was developed involving the used of Hexafluoroisopropanol as cosolvent to enhance the rate of the Passerini multicomponent reaction.

Abstract
A last project was developed involving the used of Hexafluoroisopropanol as cosolvent to enhance the rate of the Passerini multicomponent reaction.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
