The thesis project is focused on the study of the Dalitz decay of the neutral pion meson. The research project is divided into two parts: in the former, standard statistical analysis techniques have been developed for the measurement of the Transition Form Factor and Branching Ratio of the decay, while in the latter, a series of Deep Learning algorithms have been tested as possibile ways of improving the analytical results.

Abstract
