The present thesis analyzes a peculiar aspect of the airport handling: the allocation of liability among the air carrier and the (so-called) handler for the damage connected to the passengers and the baggage during the air transport. In particular great attention has been given to the evolution of the legislation relative to this sector (International conventions, Italian and European law) and to the principal legal teories and decisions of Italian courts.
