The thesis is divided into three articles, each of which focuses on a different aspect of the impact of climate change on agri-food businesses. The first article presents a systematic literature review that outlines the current state of research on the relationship between non-financial reporting and corporate performance. This review is based on data retrieved from the Scopus database. The second article is based on a survey of companies in the Italian livestock supply chain and examines how these firms perceive and manage climate change-related risks. The third article provides a statistical analysis that assesses the impact of rising temperatures and changes in rainfall distribution on enterprises operating in the citrus and olive sectors in Calabria.
