Every year, the internationalization of higher education institutions (HEIs), the steady increase in student enrollment, and international student mobility generate a continuous flow of people who move, study, work, and live in university cities. The presence of international students contributes to the prosperity of universities, countries, and cities, positively impacting their socio-cultural and economic development. The diversity of needs and services related to this segment of the university population also makes its way through to the university hospitality sectors. In addition, while on the one hand, universities work hard to compete at the international level, trying to attract more and more international students, on the other hand, university hospitality and, more generally, student accommodation services are unlikely to be recognized as fundamental services. Furthermore, as the the vast majority of universities focus on providing accommodation to students; the overall residential experience, especially in multicultural and international environments, is often overlooked. This research investigates the relationship between the changes in the HEI's university students’ population, their needs and their impact on the existing public and private student accommodation models. It explores potential challenges, opportunities, and features of the current student accommodation sector. It identifies potential drivers of development to innovate services and the overall student experience across the university's hospitality sectors. The study finalizes a model of "International Living Learning Hub" to enhance its unique hospitality features, international attractiveness, and competitiveness.

Abstract
The study finalizes a model of "International Living Learning Hub" to enhance its unique hospitality features, international attractiveness, and competitiveness.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
