La Sardegna e Montecassino: edizione dei documenti conservati presso l’archivio dell’abbazia cassinese (secoli XI-XV)

The archives of the Abbey of Montecassino preserve a vast and priceless collection of documents. Part of this concerns the direct relationship between the Cassinese monastery and medieval Sardinia. The subject of the research is the systematic and complete analysis of the documentation relating to this relationship, as well as targeted studies on the Benedictine presence on the island, the functioning of local chancelleries during the medieval centuries and the chronological issues raised by the documents themselves.
