La filosofia di Raymond Ruyer: un objet retrouvé

This research investigates the operative function of Raymond Ruyer’s philosophical method (1902–1987), a French thinker whose encyclopaedic output has remained at the margins of twentieth-century philosophical cartography. The study is structured around a specific hermeneutic question – “Is absolute survey identical with a point of view?” – which addresses the problem of consciousness's access to the world. The research is organised in three sections. The first (The Methodics, chs. 1–2) analyses Ruyer’s strategy of conceptual restoration, showing how the shorter writings constitute the privileged laboratory in which Ruyerian conceptual engineering operates in its most analytical form. The second (The Architectonics, ch. 3) reconstructs the genesis of “absolute survey” from its Brunschvicgian origin as intellectual distance, showing how Ruyer arrives at a “survey without survey”: an ontology of the absolute domain that transforms the impasse of classical gnoseology into the foundation of self-presence (aseity). The third (The Diagrammatics, chs. 4–5) develops the transition to an ontology of immersivity through the notion of “fibre”, derived by conceptual engineering from Ruyer’s own lexicon and presented as the semantic structure that reconfigures the relation between “subject” and “world”. The contribution lies in having elaborated a “method à la Ruyer” – founded on architectonics and diagrammatics – capable of reactivating Ruyerian philosophy as a theoretical instrument in contemporary debates on ontology, consciousness, and the philosophy of nature.
