Fattori determinanti una corretta azione di ripopolamento di una risorsa marina: il caso dell'aragosta rossa Palinurus elephas (Fabricius, 1787) in Sardegna (Mediterraneo centro-occidentale)

The purpose of the study was to analyze and evaluate the functionality of the restocking areas of Palinurus elephas established in the seas around Sardinia, and especially in those of Pallosu, Bosa, Castelsardo Buggeru, identifying in detail all the key features and the factors that have allowed them to effectively achieve the actual recovery of the resource. In particular, they have evaluated both the biomass increments within the protection and the spillover effect in commercial areas of neighboring fishing, both Red Lobster that the resources with it share the same habitat. In this way the no-take areas were identified in which the repopulation action has had greater success, and then identified the key factors to determine the success of the action of restocking, and consequently an improvement of resource management.
