Esistenza letteraria e rivelazione psicologica: il “metodo Fusco” applicato all'analisi dei Dubliners di J.Joyce

The research work arises from a less considered text still little analyzed by Prof. Fusco himself, that is to say that “People of Dublin” with which the Italian scholar approached the great writer's literary work Irish. In a "hand to hand" with Joyce's book, Prof. Fusco seems to have built a real original critical territory, that is, almost like one "Second voice" next to or above that of the Irish author and his writing, the Italian psychologist recognizes a kind of continuum psychic manifestation, which from the depths of the social unconscious the writer he manages to draw, reassemble and therefore finally also bring out the light. And in this way the Italian scholar almost manages to invent one sort of a new disciplinary position, since this analysis and the "method" that should emerge and sustain it really comes very close to one original and characteristic statute, something intermediate between the work of psychologist and the sociologist's study action.
