The myth of Prometheus, with his rich and multivalent symbology, has accompanied the develop of the European culture. Lucian of Samosata, one of the most lively representative of the Second sophistic, deals with this subject particularly in three works: Prometheus es in verbis, Prometheus and Dialogi deorum V. This study analyses them, pointing out their connexion.
Il mito di Prometeo, con la sua ricca e polivalente simbologia, ha accompagnato lo sviluppo della cultura europea. Luciano di Samosata, uno degli esponenti più vivaci della Seconda Sofistica, ne tratta particolarmente in tre opere: Prometheus es in verbis, Prometheus e Dialogi deorum V. Questo studio le analizza, facendone emergere la connessione.
