This work is focused on the multiwavelength analysis of ejecta around Luminous Blue Variable stars (LBVs), which are massive evolved stars subjected to high mass-loss episodes. In particular, the purpose of this thesis is to study the mass-loss history of a subsample of galactic and magellanic LBVs. We analysed data ranging from the mid-IR to the radio, collected with different space telescopes and interferometric and single-dish telescopes. Among the most interesting results in this work there are: the discovery of a recently formed shell in one of our sources and the evidence that galactic and magellanic objects do not differ despite the different metallicity.

Abstract
This work is focused on the multiwavelength analysis of ejecta around Luminous Blue Variable stars (LBVs), which are massive evolved stars subjected to high mass-loss episodes. In particular, the purpose of this thesis is to study the mass-loss history of a subsample of galactic and magellanic LBVs. We analysed data ranging from the mid-IR to the radio, collected with different space telescopes and interferometric and single-dish telescopes. Among the most interesting results in this work there are: the discovery of a recently formed shell in one of our sources and the evidence that galactic and magellanic objects do not differ despite the different metallicity.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
