It is known for a long time that the kidney, and particularly the segments of the prossimal tubule, are the principal targets of the toxicity from Cd. Such damage cause as principal consequences the fosfaturia, aminoaciduria, glicosuria and proteinuria, find in Fanconi-similar syndromes as Dent's disease and it suggest, in this way, that the principals targets of the metal are the different systems of transport localized on the apical membrane of the tubular cells. The main purpose of the experimental research has been to define the evolution to the interstitial inflammation during cadmium poisoning of healthy rats and to evaluate the molecular and cellular aspects of the isoform 5 chloride channel (ClC-5), involved in the phatogenises of Dent's disease.

Abstract
It is known for a long time that the kidney, and particularly the segments of the prossimal tubule, are the principal targets of the toxicity from Cd. Such damage cause as principal consequences the fosfaturia, aminoaciduria, glicosuria and proteinuria, find in Fanconi-similar syndromes as Dent's disease and it suggest, in this way, that the principals targets of the metal are the different systems of transport localized on the apical membrane of the tubular cells. The main purpose of the experimental research has been to define the evolution to the interstitial inflammation during cadmium poisoning of healthy rats and to evaluate the molecular and cellular aspects of the isoform 5 chloride channel (ClC-5), involved in the phatogenises of Dent's disease.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
