The thesis focuses on a construct relatively little explored in the literature, but important within the organizational relationships: the mistrust. Only at first glance the distrust can be regarded as the simple opposite of trust, subject however to the center of numerous works. In fact, the concept of distrust has a specificity that makes it interesting not only as opposed to trust, but also as unique and autonomous object investigated. The thesis follows a descriptive approach and then it proceeds with trying to locate a measurement model. Finally, it proposes managerial behaviors more suitable in a prescriptive approach.
