Abstract

Beginnning fiom a deep and teoretical lecture and interpretation of the gnosticism Jonas start to understand the strong opposition between the term of matter and spirit in the simbolic architecture of that religious movement. Our thesis will offer the evidence that fiom that spirit of opposition the gnosticism develop a functional use of the concept of dualism. Jonas to make a hole historical reconstruction of the evolution of western thought. In the same time he can riformulete a new fenomenology of biology: the ontology that comes is built not on the traditional opposition between being-not being but between organic and non organic. The organism, with his own power of life, hold together the terms of matter and spirit, that is the the basis to espress the action of freedom, in whic put the new fondamental ethics to preserve life an his creation. These are the five fondamental point tha sign our work: A- A great capacity to involve in an existenzial way the problems, a great importance of biografic history and of the various and eterogeneous experience in his life, that contributes to the main direction of his research B- The great importance on fenomenology as method of inquiry: the precious methodology heredity and training with Husserl and Heidegger: philosophy main movement of research is a kind of explanation and clarification of the original datum or fact. This method is used first of all for the problem of living beings. The idea is to start from something that is over and befor every division and opposition, in a unique originary space: our living body. C- The great importance of the dimension of faith and biblical and theological knowledge on hebrew tradition: his fait in not an indiscussed a priori with same inesplicable metaphisical implication, but a real existenzial feeling towards the sacred value of human being and his openness, the misterious origin that the wonderful nature offers to the understanding of man. D- The semplicity and completeness of the theme he managed: there'isnt a matter that he forgot to discuss, and the stile of little essay in different areas of philosophical, moral or scientific debate allows him to be very interdisciplinar, offering interesting overview over specialistics and accademics disciplinary bond. E- It derives a powerfull, complex and articulated philosophical architecture, complete and extremely contemporary in his proposal, being classical in the method of most autenthic thoughts. The task of a contemporary philosopher is to succeed in a deep comprehension of our times, to understand the main points of problematic issue, and to offer new intention and resolution.
