The research defines the essential features of the cinematographic production of writer Gianni Celati. Through previously unpublished archival material, the analysis of the movies and the testimonies of his collaborators and friends, the study examines the origins of Celati's interest in the medium, reconstructs the genesis of his works, and outlines the key-aspects of his poetics as a filmmaker.
La ricerca definisce i tratti essenziali dell'opera cinematografica dello scrittore Gianni Celati. Attraverso materiale d'archivio sinora inedito, l'analisi dei suoi film e le testimonianze di collaboratori e amici, viene ripercorso l'interesse di Celati per il mezzo, ricostruita la genesi delle opere, delineati i punti-chiave della sua poetica di cineasta.
