This research provides a comprehensive potrait of the company-level collective bargaing on a Italian-based-metal-engineering company. The aim of this research is analyse the historical background of the company-level bargaing to propose a new skill-pay based system. In general, the analyses show how the negotiation and the collective agreement are the way to obtain positive outcomes for both parties: for worker and management. In particular, positive outcomes are originated from the collaboration between the parties to define a new agreement with a good use of partnership. This approach is able to improve work condictions throught an economic redistribution and to create a workplace democracy, this integrative approach to negotiations lead to positive and oriented to productivity investment and employment goals.
