The dissertation examines the relationship between the doctrine of debtor's liability against creditors and the use of asset protection trusts and other similar asset protection instruments within the Italian soil. The study has been performed throughout a comparative analysis of Spendthrift Trusts in U.S.A., Protective Trusts in United Kingdom and Liechtenstein foundations in Switzerland. Economic analysis of law on matter of asset protection trusts has been performed too.
