My research focused on evaluating how the Radio Electric Asymmetric Conveyer (REAC) neuromodulation protocols, Neuro Postural Optimization (NPO) and Neuro Psycho Physical Optimization (NPPOs), modulating endogenous bioelectrical activity (EBA), could lead to improvements in neurotransmission mechanisms crucial for managing environmental responses that manifest as internalizing disorders and dysfunctional adaptive processes in individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental alterations. The potential offered by the REAC neuromodulation protocols in enhancing neurotransmission mechanisms and reducing dysfunctional adaptive components opens a new perspective in the analysis and treatment of these subjects. My study pathway is summarized in three publications. In the first, I developed a proprietary assessment test for the efficacy of REAC NPO and NPPOs neuromodulation protocols. The second publication involved using the Autism Treatment Evaluation Checklist (ATEC), one of the most common scales for evaluating treatment efficacy in autistic subjects. The third publication focused on more severe cases, utilizing the Pediatric Evaluation of Disability Inventory-Computer Adaptive Test (PEDI-CAT). Across all studies, high efficacy of REAC NPO and NPPOs neuromodulation protocols was demonstrated in improving neurotransmission processes, as evidenced by improvements in internalizing disorders and adaptive capacities. The contribution of my studies is highlighted by the fact that the obtained results suggest REAC NPO and NPPOs neuromodulation treatments offer a promising, non-invasive intervention to enhance the quality of life in children and adolescents with ASD and other neurodevelopmental alterations.
