This work aims to analyse the phenomenon of contemporary narrative journalism in the Peruvian context through the perspective of the literary theory of narratology, according to the definition and the framework introduced by Gérard Genette. In particular, the research consists in mapping the Peruvian productions on narrative journalism and compose a corpus of texts written and published in the XXI century in order to point out narrative journalism's peculiar features and structures and evaluating it as an autonomous literary genre within the paradigm of non fiction contemporary literature. The thesis is composed by tree chapters: the first one presents the narrative journalism production and protagonists in Peru and the literary corpus; the second one focus on the previous studies about the intersections between journalism and literature and the Latin American narrative journalism traditions in context like Argentina, Mexico and Peru; and the third and last one is dedicated to the exploration of the Genettian theory and its application to the textual analysis of the Peruvian contemporary narrative journalism corpus.
