The PhD thesis focuses on the authorization procedures for plants generating energy from renewable sources ruled by art. 12 of d. lgs. 387/2003, especially studying the topic of coordination between the different public authorities involved in it. The work is divided into three parts. The first chapter analyzes the administrative procedures for permitting the installation for different type of RES technology in the European scenario, mainly considering the system of economic incentives for renewable energy projects set in order to reach the target of 20% of all energy use to be obtained from renewable resources by 2020. The second chapter of the thesis offers a critical analysis of the preconditions of administrative procedures in force at national level. The third chapter offers a deep survey about the current A.U. procedure ruled by the national legislation. This section focuses on legal means set by Italian law in order to coordinate the different public authorities involved in administrative procedures for permitting the installation for different type of RES technology.
