In the German romantic era, Solgers philosophy assumes an original and eccentric position with many elements of the coeval cultural tradition but also with many innovative theoretical perspectives especially based on the aesthetics of divine revelation (Offenbarung) in the contingency. In the core of Solgers philosophy there is a renewed interpretation of the concept “Ironie”. For Solger irony is the sunset of the idea, that annihilates herself as phenomenon but contemporaneously continues to be transcendent as noumenon. My research examines, above all, the Solgerian concept of instant (Augenblick) and the assonance with the concept of “glance” (Blick) with a phenomenological interpretation and Solgerian conception of “self-consciousness”. First part is dedicated on theoretical problems, the second on the aesthetical issues and one appendix is dedicated on the relationship between the “second” Fichte (Wissenschaftslehre 1804) and Solger.
