This research wants to consider and analyze some aspects of emotional dimension inside the school; it means that some teachers of primary and secondary schools (in Italy and in Malta) tested themselves to understand their behaviour and their emotional state, also after difficult moments (for example after living situation of aggression, burnout or desire to leave their job because of terrible experiences). The teachers wrote a diary in these months to note all the emotions they felt while they were working in the school and while they were at home after a working day; in this way they had the possibility to understand better what they are, what their emotions mean and how live with them without problems. For this research, the diaries were important research tools that make me know the teachers' emotional life; it is important to note that they wrote their diary for 30 days in which they told the predominant emotion of every single day, the cause of it and, sometimes, the consequences. I had two goals: first, I wanted to know where the teacher turn her/his emotion and, second, I wanted to understand their actions that are emotions’ results. Research results demonstrated that students, the colleagues and all the people that are connected with school life are the main protagonists of teachers' emotional life: their private life is mixed with their professional life. Then I understood that there are many different actions that teachers do after feeling a particular emotion: these actions can be done for themselves or for other people.

Abstract
Then I understood that there are many different actions that teachers do after feeling a particular emotion: these actions can be done for themselves or for other people.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
