On the basis of scientific evidence, the World Health Organization has defined cardiac rehabilitation as a multifactorial, active and dynamic process, that wants to promote clinical stability, reduce disability resulting from the disease and support the recovery of a active role in society by reducing the risk of subsequent cardiovascular events, improving the quality of life and impacting positively on overall survival. The aim of this thesis is to find some management strategies for the rehabilitation of cardiovascular patient, in particular focusing attention in the role of physical activity. I present two different models (the Lab of Secondary Prevention of Cardiovascular Disease in Verona and the Cardiac Rehab Program in London, Ontario), the new strategies with pedometers for increase exercise at home and a pilot study with BEMER Physical Vascular Therapy in association to exercise for improve the tolerance and the performance during stress test. All these strategies give me good results: this can mean that beyond the strategy adopted, patients put their trust in the rehabilitation program after an acute event because they realize that a secondary prevention route is necessary for improve the quality of their life.

Abstract
All these strategies give me good results: this can mean that beyond the strategy adopted, patients put their trust in the rehabilitation program after an acute event because they realize that a secondary prevention route is necessary for improve the quality of their life.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
