Recent collective household consumption models help recover the sharing rules of children using observation of some exclusive, privately-assigned expenditure and distribution factors. The sharing rules of children can then be used to analyze their monetary poverty. As well-being is multidimensional, it is also imperative to look at deprivations in other dimensions including health, nutrition, education and living standards.
