This thesis investigates the relationship between workers' alignment with an organization's mission and the ethical and organizational aspects shaping it, focusing on the case of the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT). The primary objective is to analyze how values and organizational culture influence employees' motivation and identification with the "raison d'être" of the institution. The research combines a theoretical review of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and organizational purpose with an empirical analysis of IIT's strategies and internal policies. By examining the strategic plans and organizational frameworks of IIT, the study highlights the significance of coherence between mission, values, and organizational structure in fostering employee well-being and operational efficiency. It also emphasizes the critical role of human capital and internal communication practices in creating an ethical and responsible workplace. The findings reveal that aligning an organization's internal and external dimensions enhances strategic goal achievement while generating organizational value.

The findings reveal that aligning an organization's internal and external dimensions enhances strategic goal achievement while generating organizational value.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
