This dissertation is focused on the synthesis and biological evaluation of novel small molecules targeting key pathways involved in chemo resistance, such as protein kinases CDK7 and FAK, exploring alternative therapeutic targets as well, including splicing factors and apoptotic pathways. Al giorno d'oggi, indagare strategie terapeutiche innovative per contrastare la resistenza ai farmaci nel trattamento del cancro è di primaria importanza. Questa dissertazione è incentrata sulla sintesi e sulla valutazione biologica di nuove piccole molecole mirate a percorsi chiave coinvolti nella chemioresistenza, come le chinasi proteiche CDK7 e FAK, esplorando anche bersagli terapeutici alternativi, tra cui i fattori di splicing e le vie apoptotiche. Queste strategie sono specificamente valutate nell'Adenocarcinoma Duttale Pancreatico (PDAC) e nel Carcinoma Polmonare Non a Piccole Cellule.
