Measuring economic impacts on ecosystem and human well-being

The purpose of the thesis is to contribute to the debate on the role of natural resources in development economics, which has e become more challenging in recent years, due to multiple actors interaction, such as anthropogenic pressure, climate change, environmental conservation and social development. In this context, a fundamental issue is the evaluation of the multiple variables that revolve around development, aiming to a better management of its relationship with the environment, to help policy makers improve their performance.
