The present study provides clear evidence of the link between the inflammationinduced synaptic alterations and anxiety- and depressive-like behaviours in EAE mice and proposes a novel mechanism of GA-mediated neuroprotection. Together these data point to microglia as a major cellular determinant of both synaptopathy and behavioural changes and as a target of GAmediated neuroprotection against excitotoxicity.

Abstract
The present study provides clear evidence of the link between the inflammationinduced synaptic alterations and anxiety- and depressive-like behaviours in EAE mice and proposes a novel mechanism of GA-mediated neuroprotection. Together these data point to microglia as a major cellular determinant of both synaptopathy and behavioural changes and as a target of GAmediated neuroprotection against excitotoxicity.File in questo prodotto:
