In the chapter one of this work we make an analysis of the diferents models of economic integration. We talk specially about the area of free trade and about the common marcket, because our work talk about them. In the second chapter we studied the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) beetwen Canada, the United States and Mexico. At the begining of the chapter we see the NAFTA’s history, the reasons of the free agreemnet beetwen the States and Mexico and the politic integration of this countries. The NAFTA containded, the free trade agreement, and the agreemnets in materia of work and enviromental. We studied aswell the diferents systems of solution of the controversies, as the three lateral arbitration and the dumping’s process. At the end of this chapter we studied the NAFTA ten years later. The chapter number three is about the nature of European Union, as the pioner of a new kind of international organization. We studied the NAFTA’s nature just as a Free Trade Agreement. Finally, in the 4th Chapter is the relative one about the case of free moviment of persons. So, in the case of the European Union, this free moviment it’s a real rigth of any single european citizen. In the case of NAFTA the free moviment of persons is not a part of the Agreement. In fact the NAFTA just talk about this free moviment in case of bussines of and other special category of persons. Wherever, there is a very interesting proposition from President George Bush about the temporall workers in the USA.
