The aim of this work is to describe the development, validation and application of two in vitro highly controlled ultrasound stimulation systems, able to deliver a precise ultrasound beam to cellular targets with a wide tuning possibility of the stimulation parameters. In parallel, an electromagnetic stimulation system was provided by BAC s.r.l. (Florence, Italy) optimised and applied to carry out electromagnetic stimulation on cell lines, still with the possibility to tune several stimulation parameters.
