Through the analysis of Brussels' expatriates community, the research investigates the consequences of globalisation on interpersonal relationships. In particular, three models are studied: a typology of European high level movers; a classification of the different kind of interpersonal relationships; a typology of cultural identities. Through the analysis of young professionals' interpersonal relationships, the research focuses on the changes in people's cultural identities which happen in consequence of intercultural relations.
