Zonizzazione acustica subacquea del golfo di Trieste: implementazione delle conoscenze tecniche e scientifiche per la valutazione del clima acustico e dei suoi effetti sull'ecosistema marino

This research work was performed in collaboration with the Regional Agency for Environmental Protection of Friuli Venezia Giulia (ARPA FVG), place the order to fill gaps in knowledge in this area and wanted to give 1 ) a framework detailed annual distribution of background underwater noise in the Gulf of Trieste , 2 ) to identify, thanks to it, in terms of space and time, any areas of suffering acoustic for marine life normally present in the area and, finally,3 ) to assess, through the use of a model of noise propagation, the site-specific mode of propagation of noise, simulating scenarios at different frequencies and in different seasons of the year.
