Abstract With the rapid development of the Internet technology, the traditional cross-border trade has emerged from the offline to online, from developed countries with mature networks to developing countries, which is cross-border e-commerce. After the emergence of cross-border e-commerce, with its unique trading method, it has soon occupied a certain proportion in the global cross-border trade, and is gradually increasing. At present, China's e-commerce is at the forefront in the global e-commerce, forming a competing environment that oligopolies by Alibaba and JD, and follows by other e-commerce companies. While Chinese e-commerce companies compete in the Chinese market, they also focus on the global market for cross-border e-commerce trade. Along with the growth of China's import and export trade, Chinese companies have exported Chinese manufacturing to overseas through the platform of cross-border e-commerce, and Chinese consumers have also purchased high-quality foreign products through these platforms. Cross-border e-commerce import and export transactions have gradually increased, and the proportion of cross-border e-commerce in import and export trade is also increasing. Therefore, research on cross-border e-commerce is meaningful. This thesis mainly introduces the status quo of cross-border e-commerce in China, analyzes the case of typical cross-border business model, and finds out the current problems and countermeasures, as well as some decisions made by the Chinese government to support the development of cross-border e-commerce in China.
