This thesis had the objective of creating a framework in which the concepts of trust studies in other disciplines could be linked with the emerging sharing economy sector. Trough a preliminary desk research, the reader is able to understand the principal aspects of trust studies in various fields, from psychology, sociology, neurosciences and economics; moreover, in the introductory section of the work, the most interesting facts of sharing economy sector are highlighted. Since this first part, the work is developed on a questionnaire, implemented by the author, based on the necessity of understanding the relations between the choice of sharing economy services and platforms and trust. After the analysis of the results made by the author, there are the comments by Benita Matofska, speaker and global expert in the Sharing Economy and founder of The People Who Share, one of the most important websites in this field. At the end, an analysis with final comments is present, with suggestions for companies and platforms involved in that sector.
