Abstract

Aim of this thesis is the realization and testing of a functioning small-scale prototype for a possible new transport technology, National Individual floating Transport Infrastructure (NIFTI ), proving the feasibility of its concept. The system parameters are determined by simulation, and a final prototype is assembled and tested, successfully achieving vertical levitation and forward propulsion, thus demonstrating the viability of this technology as an alternative to conventional transport methods.
