This work shows corporate social responsibility as a fundamental and indispensable feature of corporate communication to stakeholders. After an initial introduction on the concept of Corporate social responsibility, an analysis of UK CSR reports is provided. A corpus has been created, which includes CSR reports from English food retailers Tesco, Sainsbury's, Morrisons, John Lewis, Co-op. Some peculiarities have been pinpointed.
