Il Mahdī e il filosofo. Sulle citazioni teologiche di Ibn Tūmart nell'opera di Ibn Rušd (Averroè)

The thesis investigates the theological citations of Ibn Tūmart, the Mahdī of the Almohads, in the work of Ibn Rušd (Averroes). Its aim is to contextualize and explain them in light of the theological-philosophical discourse that the philosopher develops in his so-called “personal works”: Faṣl al-maqāl, al-Kašf ‘an manāhiǧ al-adilla fī ‘aqā’id al-milla, and Tahāfut al-Tahāfut.

La tesi indaga le citazioni teologiche di Ibn Tūmart, Mahdī degli Almohadi, nell'opera di Ibn Rušd (Averroè). Essa ha come scopo di contestualizzarle e spiegarle alla luce del discorso teologico-filosofico che il filosofo sviluppa nelle cosiddette "opere personali" : Faṣl al-maqāl; al-Kašf ‘an manāhiǧ al-adilla fī ‘aqā’id al-milla, Tahāfut al-Tahāfut.
