The project aims to enhance through digital technology the documentary heritage of the Archivio Scrittori Veneti ‘Cesare De Michelis’, affiliated to the Dipartimento di Studi Linguistici e Letterari of the University of Padua. The Archive, founded in the late 1990s by Cesare De Michelis, is an aggregation of literary archives of writers connected to the Veneto region and offers a unique opportunity to enter the creative process of the authors and to explore new perspectives of textual analysis. The project has been set as a continuation of the activities undertaken over the years for the digital transformation of the Archive. After an examination of the documents and an assessment of the digitisation process, the archival collection of Giuseppe Berto, recently digitised, has been selected to be studied according to the methodology of critique génétique. A selection of documents from the genetic dossier of 'Guerra in camicia nera' has been encoded in XML-TEI. The digital scholarly edition is available on the website 'Berto digitale'. This paper presents an overview of the Archive’s activities, the results of the critical study on the documents and the technical specifications regarding the digital scholarly edition and the website.

This paper presents an overview of the Archive’s activities, the results of the critical study on the documents and the technical specifications regarding the digital scholarly edition and the website.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
