In the spring of 1940, Federico Fellini was called to work for EIAR. The proposal was to write a radio saga for children based on Snow White's Seven Dwarfs, an initiative sponsored by the confectionery brand Elah. Upon accepting, he wrote the radio revue (radiorivista) together with Ruggero Maccari, his friend and colleague at Marc’Aurelio. This marked the beginning of a three-year collaboration during which Fellini produced over fifty radio scripts, twenty-six of which were co-authored with Maccari. No audio recordings remain of the original broadcasts of these scripts. However, the radio scripts themselves have been preserved and can be found in the SIAE Archives, the Central State Archives, and, to a lesser extent, in the private archives of the Ruggero Maccari family. RAI, the successor to EIAR, does not hold any of these scripts in its collection. The following study represents the first monograph entirely dedicated to the analysis of Federico Fellini's radio scripts, comparing them to the cultural context of the time and to his contemporary and subsequent career.

Abstract
The following study represents the first monograph entirely dedicated to the analysis of Federico Fellini's radio scripts, comparing them to the cultural context of the time and to his contemporary and subsequent career.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
