Abstract
This research is a reasoned reading that intends to address the theme of material design, in the light of the reflection of important authors of the last century in relation to material. Analyze and study to find a synthesis point in the language used by designers and scientists. starting from the comparison between the writings of authoritative authors in the field of materials engineering and designers and critical design. This research focused on authors and their thoughts, the methodologies, the languages, the theory of material characteristics. Study the scientist and also the designer's points of view in the physical-chemical and expressive characteristics of materials, the language of scientist and designer and the effect of Innovation and Technology in the planning and design process. Ashby, as a materials engineer and from the design field, Beylerian, Manzini and Oxman. The comparison of the authors' thinking with the identified keywords, in the debates around the project and products and the program for the future in the field of materials. A comparison carried out through the selection, analysis and synthesis of citations of the authors and projects of the designers.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
