LINC00461 contributes to neural progenitor organisation and regulates developmental transcription progression in human brain models

Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are increasingly recognised as important regulators of human brain development, contributing to the control of gene expression, chromatin organisation and developmental transitions. Their strong tissue specificity and dynamic expression during neural differentiation make them particularly relevant for the study of human neurodevelopment, yet the function of most brain-enriched lncRNAs remains poorly understood. Human pluripotent stem cell-derived neural models, ...

In tale prosp...

Deciphering the Fine Anthocyanin Regulation in Eggplant: a multi –omics approach

Anthocyanins are responsible for the purple pigmentation of eggplant fruits. Structural genes and major transcription factors controlling their biosynthesis are well characterized. However, the molecular mechanisms underlying the specific loss of pigmentation in the fruit peel remain poorly understood. This thesis investigated the regulation of anthocyanin biosynthesis in the purple-fruited eggplant cultivar Black Beauty (BB) and its naturally occurring green-fruited mutant Green Beauty (GB) ...
